The Madrid EDITION (Marriott) made its grand debut in Madrid in spring 2022, following the success of its first opening in Barcelona.
Since June 2022, I have had the privilege of directing and editing nearly the entirety of the hotel’s social media video campaign. My work spans a variety of creative formats, including gastronomic storytelling (with a particular emphasis on cocktail culture), event reels, influencer collaborations, and partnerships with premium spirit brands.
Some of the standout series I have conceptualized, directed, and edited for The Madrid EDITION include:

︎︎︎(Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter) Season Secrets: One of my favorite creations for the hotel, this series features casual & fun conversations between chefs Diego Muñoz and Danitza Gabriela, unveiling the seasonal innovations at Oroya restaurant. The videos capture the chefs’ passion for their craft, interspersed with stunning macro shots of ingredients and beautifully plated dishes, along with the latest trends in cutting-edge cocktails.

︎︎︎Neighbourhood Icons: A tribute to the cultural and gastronomic landmarks surrounding the hotel. This series highlights the hidden gems of Madrid’s historic center, just steps away from The EDITION’s iconic spiral staircase. From the traditional pastry shop El Riojano to the indie music store Escridiscos, we delve into the rich tapestry of local icons.

︎︎︎Guest Bartending: A dynamic series that showcases world-renowned bartenders invited to craft their signature creations at the hotel’s luxurious bars—Lobby Bar and the sensual Punch Room. These high-energy videos, set to irresistible music, capture the magic behind the cocktails. Some featured bartenders include Giulia Cuccurullo (Artesian Bar London), Patrick Pistolesi (Drink Kong), Hampus Thunholm (Roda Huset), Schofield’s Manchester, and Red Frog & Monkey Mash.

Working with The Madrid EDITION has allowed me to refine my expertise across various video formats: from gastronomic storytelling and cocktail innovations to high-energy event reels and cultural series. I’ve crafted a visual narrative that reflects the hotel’s luxurious identity, blending documentary interviews, influencer collaborations, and dynamic brand content.
